The Forbes Conversation Series kicked off this week with two faculty favorites: Peter Singer (Tuesday) and Jeff Nunokawa (Wednesday). Thanks to those who came out to share dinner with them!

The Conversation Series is an opportunity for students to meet faculty, staff, and other University community members on an informal non-academic setting. Some invitees come to talk about their fields of study, but others come to talk about extra-curricular passions--be it skiing, geocaching, or making independent films. The conversations take place over meals (most often dinner, but sometimes lunch), which creates an immediate shared experience and sets the tone of chatting versus lecturing.
