The Forbes College Council hosted their springtime bash on Saturday between blue sky and green grass. Students flocked to the back yard for hand-painted henna tattoos, stick-on metallic tattoos, funnel cake, snow cones, and to relax while listening to bands and DJs (shout-out to Tea Wimer for pulling together the concert aspect--we know it's not easy wrangling rock stars!). Performers included Valley Academy, PURE, Second Generation, Shakers, and DJ Gloria Umotoni. A few solo acts also stepped up, including the FCC's own Erin Redding.

Council members handed out tee shirts and tank tops that will let the rest of campus know what makes 4BZ the best--the line for the gear was long and, dare I say, buzzing with excitement. At the back of the yard was a boho tent made from brightly patterned scarves where you could relax and get out of the sun for a spell. Students also took turns on the giant inflatable slide!

We are so grateful the weather machine was cranked to 11 for this event, and thank you to all who came out and started off the weekend in style! Follow Forbes College on Facebook, and make sure you check out the Forbesfest photo album!
