Why We Struggle to Make Good Choices... and How We Can Be Better: Lessons from Behavioral Economics, with Syon Bhanot '06

March 26, 2019

Tuesday, April 2, 5:30-6:30 in Forbes SDR

Behavioral science has taught us that human beings are not well equipped to make consistently rational decisions. In this timely, interactive talk, Syon Bhanot '06, an Assistant Professor of Economics at Swarthmore College (and a Forbes alum!), will discuss some of the behavioral biases that influence our decision-making processes, and how we can use knowledge of those biases to improve how we make choices - about what we eat, what majors we choose, what jobs we take, etc. We look forward to seeing you there!
