The College Office is staffed by the Head of College, who oversees the life of the College. The Head sets the intellectual tone for the College, fosters its spirit, and organizes activities that broaden the students' educational experiences; the Dean, responsible for general oversight of academic affairs and student life; a Director of Studies (DoS), responsible for academic advising and programming, primarily for first- and second-year students, as well as training and supporting Peer Academic Advisers (PAAs) and Faculty Advisers; a Director of Student Life (DSL), who supports and enhances the undergraduate residential and co-curricular experience through overseeing the Residential College Advisers (RCAs), managing student cases involving health/wellness and adjudicating residential college disciplinary issues; a College Program Administrator who supervises the budget and oversees college programs; and a College Office Coordinator who assists the Dean, DoS & DSL as well as provides many of the office's official communications to students. The office is located directly below the dining hall. We encourage students to stop in and say hi and grab some snacks!

Forbes students also draw support and advice from a loyal group of Faculty Advisers (AB & BSE) and fellows, as well as Peer Academic Advisers. Visiting faculty members, non-academic staff fellows, and building and dining service personnel are all integral parts of the Forbes community. Eight graduate students also reside in Forbes and enrich the intellectual and social fabric of the College. You can find our student leader pairings below to see how we integrate student life and academic support within Forbes.

Two other groups of people, dining services and the custodial staff, play a major part in keeping Forbes running and make it a welcoming place for students.
