Bio/Description

Hi Forbes!

I'm a third-year graduate student in the molecular biology department. I grew up in Pittsburgh, PA, and earned my undergraduate degree in biochemistry and molecular biology at Penn State. My current research focuses on embryogenesis, specifically the genes and developmental signals that guide the formation and placement of organs along the embryonic body axis. If that sounds interesting to you, I would love to discuss it further or anything related to biology/human health! Outside of the lab, I enjoy playing golf and tennis. I often find myself rushing to the driving range before it closes on warm summer nights. Additionally, I am an avid chess player and enjoy all types of board games, such as Catan.

I am excited to get the chance to meet all of you, so feel free to stop me in the dining hall and chat!
