Hi Forbes! I’m a fourth year graduate student in Psychology (and the Joint Degree Program in Social Policy). I work in the Princeton Baby Lab studying early child language development. I’m interested in how differences in infants' and toddlers' language environments can lead to variability in their learning and developmental outcomes. If you have any interest in language acquisition or working with kids, come talk to me about it!
I’ve spent time in various parts of the country. I grew up in the Bay Area, went to college at Georgetown in D.C., and lived in Chicago for a year. Even though I’m a Californian at heart, I’m happy that Princeton brought me back to the East Coast (despite the cold winters)!
Outside of research, I love potlucks, game nights, and catching up on my favorite TV shows. I can’t wait to meet you all in the dining hall or at the various study breaks and activities I plan this year. Feel free to come by my room anytime!
