Hello Forbesians!

My name is Parfait Masungi. I am a PhD Candidate in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering.
I was born and raised in the Democratic Republic of Congo. I completed my undergraduate education in Civil Engineering at The University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA). During my undergraduate experience at UTSA, I served as a member, mentor, and ambassador in various organizations and was also involved in undergraduate research. Before joining Princeton University, I worked as a Civil Design Engineer in Texas.

My life journey has granted me opportunities and the ability to speak, read, and write in different languages such as English, French, Lingala, Spanish, and others. My favorite sport is soccer. I can play the percussion, drums, and piano, and I am currently teaching myself how to play the bass guitar.
