Hi fellow forbsians!

I’m a second-year PhD student in the Spanish and Portuguese Department, and I’m excited to join you and be a part of Forbes College!

I was born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil where I completed my undergraduate studies in History and Law. Here at Princeton my interests revolve around representations of race and afrolatinamerican religions in literature and the fields that interest me the most are decolonial studies, religions, cultural theory and its relationship with politics.

In my free time I love watching telenovelas - the cheesier the better - , movies and series - specially horror ones, so if you ever want to have a watch party talk to me ;). I also like going to the beach and discovering new places.
